Thermally Treated T6
During the manufacturing process the aluminum undergoes various kinds of tensions, especially in areas of bending and welding, which weaken the mechanical strength of parts.
For this reason, at the end of the production process, all XRW aluminum racing parts are subjected to a thermal treatment, commonly known as Temper. (This is a high temperature treatment, which improves all the mechanical properties of metallic alloys, breaking stress, increasing strength, durability and elasticity of the parts).
This process of stabilization and increased thermal resistance of aluminum, is exactly the same that is used in automotive and aeronautical.The XRW prides itself on being the only European company to use this process to manufacture metal parts for accessories ATV / Quad and Off Road.
