Windshield keeps you, your gear and your passenger safe from the elements. We offer a huge selection of Side by side windshields whether you are riding on the trail or on the road. From full and half windshields, to full-vented windshields and soft and hard rear panels, we have selection of products for your vehicle, for all the major makes and models.

There are several types of windshields available on ASP Shop, with advantages and disadvantages to each type. You will find a full size, half size and tilt type windshields. Whatever choice you make, your helmet and goggles remain essential for safe ride for you and your passenger, since debris or branches can reach you still even if you have equipped your vehicle with windhield and doors. It is very important to keep your windshield clean - carrying spray bottle with water and some microfiber cloths in your glove box is the best way to go.

Full-size windshields

Full size windshields offer best protection against the cold, debris and splashes. However, it will create an air return phenomenon, as dust and even exhaust gasses will be sucked into the vehicle from the rear. To eliminate this phenomenon we recommend you add a back window or rear panel and also a roof.

Half windshields

This is a very good choice for hot days riding, but in the cold days or in the winter half windshields will give you less protection against cold than full size windshields. Half windshields reduce fatigue, caused by the wind pressure during the ride, it has also other benefits such as lower price, it also allows very good airflow in the vehicle so you won't need to add a rear window. It also offers great visibility as your eyes are higher than the windshield and so you will almost forget its presence.

Tilt type windshield

This type of windscreen is, in fact, a full-size model, where the upper part can be tilted a bit, which allows the amount of air you want to enter. This solution combines advantages of both previous types, the only downside is its price - tilt type windshields are more expensive than the other two models It is a good compromise, because it is a "Two in one" type which will serve you well all-year round.

Materials

The material of the windshield should also be taken into consideration. Polycarbonate windshields are easy to install, easier on your wallet, but they resist to scratching slightly less than glass windshields. Still they are tough enough for use on the trails. Glass models are the strongest, more resistant to scratches and impacts, but also are more expensive.
