Martin Liška - Quad-Cross Champion

  • Czech OUAD-CROSS Champion 2008, 2009, 2011, Vice Champion 2010 - 450 cc
  • Czech CROSS COUNTRY Champion 2010, 2011 - 450 cc

In 2010 season I failed to defend the Czech Champion title, due to problems with my machinery. But I took it as a challenge and as force majeure ;-) I failed to finish the race in Poříčí, which I deeply regret because it was my home race and I really had great support there. And this result also decided that I became "only" Vice-champion of the Czech Republic. The more I wanted to win Champion Title in the upcoming 2011 season..... and I succeeded !!!

To the greatest successes in my career was winning the Czech Championship title in 2008 and 2009. Besides that I enjoyed participation in races abroad, in Italy and France where I got 17th place and best rookie trophy in 2hrs endurance race in Pont De Vaux in France.

2009 season was also successful for me, I managed to defend championship title in 450 cc class. I started quite well into the season, even though we sometimes had problems with our machinery.

Bit of history...

We all had to start sometime, somewhere, somehow. I started in 1999. At that time there was no official Quad racing championship, there were only local racing series such as Vizinger cup, Polaris cup etc,  but all were just an amateur races.

In 2002 I rode my first two championship races ... and I totally destroyed my machine. We had to sell it but we didn´t have enough money to continue racing. The break took quite a while – several years to be honest. I returned back in 2007 and I was successful. They were still only an amateur cups, but I was winning, 2007 season was a success and next year I got racing license. And it paid off - I became double champion.
