Dušan Randýsek recently achieved another success with his revolutionary Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000i Side-by-side, winning Intercontinental Rally in the dunes of Sahara in UTV category, and reaching excellent 9th place absolutely.
This year´s Intercontinental Rally started in Spanish Almeria with finish being in Dakar / Senegal. Extremely tough Intercontinental Rally led through the rocky trails of Atlas Mountains and deep Saharan dunes, and all the 5500 demanding kilometers withstood Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000i in great shape. Dušan Randýsek´s Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000i is powered by stock two-cylinder engine and weights only 750 kilograms.
Dusan Randýsek on Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000i: "This machine has absolutely sweet handling and very nicely designed seating position. Thanks to that fact I could drive even long stages relatively easily, in the finish I was surprised that I wasn´t really tired. Arctic Cat Wildcat has absolutely excellent driveability and impressive cornering. My result in Intercontinental Rally was largely echoed among our rivals, who were mainly surprised when they learned that costs we invested into our machine were just one third of the costs of their machinery. "
